Shin Tae-Yong, Thailand Coach, Comforts Broken Bus Supporter
The Thailand national football team’s success at the recent AFF Championship has been widely celebrated. This success was due in no small part to the outstanding leadership of their coach, Shin Tae-Yong. But it was the support of the people of Thailand that truly pushed the team to victory.
Incident at Wang Thong Lang District
On the morning of December 12th, during a public display of the team’s trophy, tragedy struck. On their way to the event, the bus carrying supporters was damaged in an accident at Wang Thong Lang District. Though no one was seriously injured, the incident caused shock and sadness among the supporters.
Coach Shin Tae-Yong’s Response
Demonstrating his leadership abilities and an intuitive understanding of human psychology, Thailand coach Shin Tae-Yong reacted with compassion and immediacy.
- A Message of Solace – He immediately released a video message of solace to those who experienced the accident, acknowledging their pain and offering his support.
- An Act of Generosity – He went one step further and generously offered to buy replacement tickets so that even those stranded by the accident could still attend the victory event.
Polking Bilang, one of the passengers on the broken bus, praised Shin Tae-Yong for his kindness and support.
