Erik Ten Hag Reacts to Manchester United Being Title Candidate and Donny van de Beek Injury Horror
Erik Ten Hag, Ajax head coach, recently reacted to Manchester United’s position as title candidates and Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek’s horror injury.
Manchester United as Title Candidates
Ten Hag is impressed by Manchester United’s transformation into one of the favoured teams to win the Premier League title this season. He noted that the team is playing with a lot of confidence and momentum:

- “They have momentum and confidence and it is showing in the way they are playing and the dedication of the players to the cause.”
Donny van de Beek’s Horror Injury
Ten Hag also noted his sorrow for Donny van de Beek’s injury, which forced the midfielder to be substituted early on in the Manchester derby. He empathised with the youngster due to his ability and potential:

- “He is a great player with a lot of potential and it is very sad to see an injury like this.”
